About the author

Christopher Goodwins was made Deacon in 1964 at Cromer Parish Church, Norfolk, and in 1965 was Ordained Priest in Norwich Cathedral.

His first Curacy was at St. Margaret's Lowestoft for two and a half years, before assuming responsibility as Senior Curate, in charge of the Church of The Good Shepherd, Oulton Village.

He spent the next twenty-nine years as Vicar of St. Mary's, Tamerton Foliot, Plymouth, before retiring to Isleham in 1998.

He was then persuaded to become Priest in Charge at St Andrew's, Isleham, Cambridgeshire.

In the seventeen years from 1971-1988 he was a regular broadcaster for Westward Television's "Faith For Life" series, and Television South West's "Postscript."

In 2004 Christopher finally retired from his post as Priest-in-Charge of St. Andrew's.
